The Carey Community is situated on 12 hectares of land in Harrisdale, 3 minutes from Livingston Shopping Centre, south along Ranford Road. Wright Road is opposite the traffic lights near Coles.

Hi, my name’s Liz Hearne and I’m truly excited to be working in one of the Chaplaincy roles at Carey for 2010.  I believe it’s a huge opportunity and privilege to partner with God, and with so many wonderful people in the Carey community, to see more of God’s kingdom come in this place.  I know that He has tremendous love for all our students and staff, and I look forward to being able to spend time with so many of them and serve in various ways.

I believe 2010 is a year where we will see wonderful things happening, both in the the everyday lives of people, and in the life of the College and Church as a whole. And though challenges will come, I know God will be faithful

to be our strength, and to

guide His people into

good things!

Hi, I am looking forward to getting to know a bunch of young people, finding ways to help those who would like it, and being part of a fantastic staff team at Carey. My goal is to be a positive person around the campus, and am stoked to be part of such a diverse community of people. If only I could remember everyone’s name!

This year I am very excited to have Jules and Liz come on board and I am hoping that we can build a really strong chaplaincy team for the Church and the College. I am looking forward to spending time getting to know the new familes arriving at our school and cementing relationships with families that are already here. I am excited about running Kids with Courage and Rainbows again this year and thrilled that I am able to start equiping other people to help with these important courses. I am looking forward to getting the freezer ministry up and running again and helping families in need in the school and church   community.
